Newborn Session | Jackson, MI Photographer

My cousin Janelle messaged me a few days after having her newest baby Avery, telling me her original photographer cancelled on her last minute and asked if I could come out to Pinckney, MI to their home to take a few photographs for announcements, I of course, said I would.

A couple days later I packed up some of my cutest boy props, baskets, and backdrops and headed over. Avery did so good, Mom had the house extra warm, so he slept very sound between posing which is always nice. His big brother Skylar helped me get his brother ready for each pose. With Skylar being so young we were hesitant to let him hold his brother, but we are glad he did, we got a super sweet shot of them together that I know they will cherish when they are older.

Newborn photography is so important, afterall, babies are only tiny for a couple weeks, it can be nearly impossible to get posed shots when baby is more than 2 weeks old. As you can see in these photos from his gallery, he was at a perfect age to sleep, be posed, and he fit nicely into all my props. 

Would you like your newborn session done at home? The nice thing for families, is they are most comfortable at home. The only downfall is the amount of backdrops and props that can be used is reduced greatly over what is offered in my home studio in Parma, MI. Check out some of the images from his gallery.
